Kerry Foods differentiates its Fergals simply range by using Flextrus PaperLite®
The new product range Fergals simply is launched by Kerry Foods in a paper material. Flextrus PaperLite® is unique in combining true paper with the ability to thermoform in existing machine lines without need for investments. The fsc-certified packaging solution meets the increasing demand on environmentally sound packaging when replacing traditional plastic trays.
Kerry Foods has chosen to launch its new sliced meat range in a packaging different than traditional packs in the retailer shelves. Flextrus PaperLite® supports the message of natural products with no artificial ingredients by being a true paper-based packaging. PaperLite® based on Billerud FibreForm is a unique paper material, which can be formed in existing thermoforming lines without requiring costly investments.
Flextrus both prints and applies an advanced, tailor-made barrier and sealing solution to the paper. This ensures excellent pack integrity in order to preserve the packed product’s quality and taste.
