Skånemejerier in Flextrus Reseal pack

Skånemejerier has launched a new sliced cheese range in a resealable and sustainable mono PET pack from Flextrus.

Skånemejerier in Sweden is the 'small inventive dairy company that wants to contribute to the health and quality of life'. For their sliced Allerum cheese, Flextrus supplies the base web HiLite mono and the lidding film EcoLite® Reseal, together making a mono PET-concept.

The pack is easy to open and reclose. The PET-based lidding falls perfectly in place when reclosing the pack. A reduced use of materials and energy and a large proportion of recycled polymer result in a more sustainable alternative.

- The new packaging solution is easy to use for our customers and is in line with our ambitions to reduce the amount of packaging and choosing materials with as little impact on the environment as possible, says Jannica Andersson, Brand Manager Cheese at Skånemejerier.
