Hemocue test device made of Flextrus GAG

Hemocue uses Flextrus material to form the actual test device

A tailored GAG material was developed in close cooperation with the customer

Hemocue is active in providing medical diagnostic products for point of care testing. The blood and urine tests are fast and easy to perform - by anyone. The reagents in the testing devices require excellent protection and therefore high barrier packaging is provided by Flextrus (Foilbond®).

The latest development together with Hemocue means taking one step further when the material is not "only" packaging but forms the actual glucose testing device. The tailored GAG-material (PETG-APET-PETG) has outstanding clarity and the high requirements on product security and consistency are met by Flextrus working according to applied GMP-standards.
