The company operates plants in Lund (Sweden) and Somerset (UK). With roots in an innovative tradition and the Head Office in Lund located in the heartland of the European flexible packaging industry, Flextrus has developed high calibre in-house R & D resources and also has multiple contacts within the wider scientific community. With a unique programme of measures, Flextrus has built a successful model for sustainable production.

Flextrus was founded in June 2008 after a buy-out from the multinational Australian packaging company Amcor. The owners are the Swedish private equity investor Accent Equity and the present management team. This ownership structure provides a rare combination of industrial experience and financial stability. Today, Flextrus has 250 employees and an annual turnover of 85 MEUR.
